The vineyard stretches over
18 ha, and is uniquely planted with the
following noble grape varieties :
- Grenache 50%
- Cinsaut
25%
- Merlot
12%
- Syrah
7%
The land on
which it has been planted is particularly favourable to a production of
quality. Generous amounts of sunshine and soil scattered
with round pebbles from the Durance, provide an excellent catalyst for heat.
In order to preserve the environment, the vineyard
has pursued a regime of organic culture
since 2001, under the strict control of the official organisation
« Qualité France ».
The grapes are harvested using the most modern vinification methods.
Part of the harvest, carefully selected, is
left in oak barrels, in the old cellar of the Domaine. This gives the wine a very specific
flavour. The wine is put up for
sale only after 2 years or more.
